The play centers on an unnamed woman, brought to life in sequential engagements by the formidable Lupita Nyong’o, Phillipa Soo, Susannah Flood, Hari Nef and Edie Falco, alongside a powerhouse returning cast featuring Dael Orlandersmith, Sarah Steele, and Greg Keller. Sanctuary for Families
Sanctuary for Families is a leading service provider and advocate for survivors of domestic violence, sex trafficking and related forms of gender violence. Each year, Sanctuary empowers thousands of adults and children to move from fear and abuse to safety and stability, transforming lives through a range of comprehensive services including clinical, legal, shelter and economic empowerment services. Sanctuary also advocates for improved policies and legislation around issues affecting survivors, in order to change the social and institutional frameworks that perpetuate gender violence.

Mayor's Office to ENDGBV
The Mayor's Office to End Domestic and Gender-Based Violence (ENDGBV) supports survivors of domestic and gender-based violence by developing and delivering accessible, inclusive services for survivors, their families, and communities. To advance this mission, the Office collaborates with government agencies, community partners, survivors, and philanthropy to reduce barriers to services, address gaps in support, and create pathways to safety. ENDGBV develops policies and programs, advances legislative advocacy efforts, provides training and prevention education, conducts research and evaluation, and engages communities across New York City. The Office also oversees the NYC Family Justice Centers in Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Manhattan, and Staten Island, which collectively serve more than 2,300 clients through more than 5,600 visits each month. The School Consent Project
The Schools Consent Project is a new NYC non-profit that sends volunteer lawyers into schools to deliver workshops to middle and high school students on the meaning of consent with the aim of preventing gender-based violence.
We believe that legal literacy is a form of protection, and that the absence of legal literacy is a form of harm. Our team educates young people on various sex offenses (rape, sexual abuse, CSAM) as well as a number of other issues faced by young people, including bystander intervention, the age of consent and ways to get help. In our first 3 years in New York, we spoke with nearly 30,000 students across all five boroughs. We deliver our workshops free of charge to public schools.
